WICHITA - For the second time in three years, the Newman baseball team will meet the Wichita Wingnuts independent minor league baseball team in an exhibition contest. The two teams will meet Monday, May 2 at 7:05 p.m. Because of on-going renovations at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, the game will be played at Wichita State's Eck Stadium.

Newman is one of just two NCAA Div. II teams to appear on the Wingnuts' exhibition schedule. Emporia State will host the 'Nuts on Tuesday. The exhibition will be Newman's final game of the 2011 season.

All seats for Monday's exhibition game are general admission. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the gate on Monday night.
