Newman University Athletics

Simmons was the 2004 national collegiate singles champion in bowling, and in 2005 led his team to a national runner-up finish, and he was named the MVP of the national tournament and first-team All-America. While at Newman, Simmons earned a spot on the U.S. national team and won four gold and two silver medals. Since graduating, he has been the Great Plains USBC player of the year five times, and has earned one PBA regional title.
