Newman’s first NCAA National Champion. Noel Torres was crowned 184-pound national champion in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in a legendary 2017-18 campaign. Torres posted a 39-4 record (7-1) in duals. On his way to a national championship, Torres earned All-American, third at the NCAA Regional, fourth at the Midwest Classic, and picked up wins at the Swede Open, RWC Jet Invite, Kansas Cup and MIAA Championships.
