Posted a personal-best 5K time of 18:14 at the ESU Dual in Emporia, Kan. ...Recorded his personal-best 8K time (30:24) at the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin, Mo...Finished the 2010 Heartland Conference Championship race (8K) in 30:37. Also competed on the Newman bowling squad which qualified for the USBC National Championship tournament.

Ran high school cross country under coach Dena Kelly at Heights High School in Wichita, Kan.
