Andrea Gustafson enters her sixth year as the Head Women's Softball Coach at Newman University in the 2025 season, after joining the Jet family in 2019.
During the 2024 season, Gustafson led the Jets to a 21-33 season and Hayley Bonython was named to the All-MIAA second team.
In the 2023 season, Gianna Navarro earned All-MIAA honors.
Under Gustafson in 2022, Anissa Ramos, Lindsay Mayo, Gianna Navarro and Laurie Cooke earned All-MIAA Honors.
Gustafson brings 15 years of college head coaching experience and nearly 600 career victories to the Jets program. She led the Seward County Community College program to four NJCAA Region VI tournament championships and two trips to the National Junior College World Series
During her collegiate playing career, Gustafson was a two-time Pac-10 All-Conference second baseman at the University of Oregon, helping lead the Ducks to three NCAA appearances.
Previously, Gustafson served as an assistant coach for Garden City Community College
Gustafson is a native of Corvallis, Oregon and has a son, Jaden.
