Notes
-Newman looks to snap a three-game skid when they host Gulf South Conference foe Ouachita (pronounced Wash-uh-tah) Baptist Saturday afternoon at Fugate Gymnasium. -Through seven games this season, the Tigers have been led by junior Gabby Coleman, whose 17.7 points per game is a team-high. Coleman also has 14 steals and 11 assists on the young season. Pre-season All-Gulf South Conference selection A'Laeshia Adams has averaged 14 points per game this season, and has 14 assists and 10 steals of her own.
-The Jets should be well-rested after a 10-day break (finals week) since their last game, an 88-57 loss at Fort Hays State.
This afternoon's contest is the first recorded meeting between Newman and Ouachita Baptist.
