WICHITA – The Newman tennis team hosts Emporia State on Saturday (Sept. 21) in its first home dual of the fall season. Both the men and the women are in action against the Hornets at 10:30 a.m. at Riverside.
 
The Jets and Lady Jets are both 1-0 so far in fall duals. The Jets won the final three matches to defeat Bethel College, 5-4, on Tuesday (Sept. 17) in North Newton, Kan. The Lady Jets blanked Bethel College, 9-0, on Tuesday (Sept. 17) and the team didn't drop a set to the Threshers.
 
Tennis is home one other time this fall as the Jets play Friends University on Tuesday (Sept. 24).
