WICHITA – The Newman men's tennis team fell, 6-3, to Southeastern Oklahoma State on Friday (March 7) at East Genesis. The Jets are 2-3 in the spring.
 
Evgeniy Kim picked up two of the three wins for NU. He won 7-5, 6-3 at No. 3 singles, and he teamed up with Miguel Bendito to get an 8-2 victory at No. 3 doubles.
 
Eduardo Santos gave the Jets its third court with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles.
 
NU lost the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches. Besides the wins at No. 2 and 3 singles, NU fell in No. 1 and 4-6 singles.
 
The Jets are next in action on March 11 against Kansas Wesleyan at home in Wichita.
