Box Score LAREDO, Texas – Alexandra Ciabattoni has been named to the 2013-14 Heartland Conference Women's Basketball All-Tournament Team. She is one of six student athletes to be named to the team.
 
In the Heartland Conference semifinals, Ciabattoni scored a team-high 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Ciabattoni, who was the Heartland Conference Player of the Year, added three rebounds, three steals and two assists in 31 minutes. The No. 3-seeded Lady Jets lost, 73-59, to No. 2 seed St. Mary's at Texas A&M International.
 
During the regular season, Ciabattoni led the conference in scoring at 20.2 points per game, and her 59.3 percent field goal shooting was second in the conference. She was top 10 in rebounds (6.9), steals (1.8) and blocked shots (1.2).
 
Along with being All-Tournament, Ciabattoni was the Heartland Conference Player of the Year, All-Heartland Conference First Team and a three-time Heartland Conference Player of the Week. As a freshman, she was the Heartland Conference Freshman of the Year.
 
Joining Ciabattoni on the All-Tournament team are Kathleen Brisbane of St. Edward's, Malika Jackson of TAMIU and Desirae Elisa and Jackie Woods of St. Mary's. SEU's Mileka Loydrake was selected the Heartland Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player.
