NOTES

-With this road game, the Jets wrap up a stretch of six straight games against the current top six teams in the Heartland Conference. Newman beat Oklahoma Christian by 20 and forced overtime before ultimately falling against St. Mary's, which are the two teams tied for third with the Dustdevils.

-Newman is 24th in the country and second in the Heartland with a 75.7 free throw percentage. The Jets have hit at least 75 percent of their freebies in each of their last four games and 11 of their 17 overall. Caldwell, Robinson and Mali Wright all hit at at least a 79-percent clip.

-Robinson has been playing some of her best basketball of the season since the calendar flipped to 2016. The senior is putting up 15.5 ppg, 3.0 apg, 3.2 rpg and is shooting 43.1 percent from the field over her past six games, scoring 20-plus points three times.

-TAMIU's two dangerous offensive threats have kept up their pace. Mathews is fifth in the country in scoring, with Prieto right behind at 28th, and the duo is first and second in the conference. They are also both in the top 10 in the Heartland in minutes played, 3-pointers attempted and made, and field goal percentage.
