WICHITA, Kan. —The Newman women's basketball team will be looking to continue its tough and physical play this week as they have four games in five days. Newman is looking to stay hot after having a good weekend minimizing mistakes and control the tempo of play throughout the weekend.
SCOUTING NEWMAN
The Jets (2-0) participated in the Heartland-RMAC challenge Friday and Saturday. Friday the team played New Mexico Highlands and winning that game by a big margin 81-45. In the second day of the tournament the team took on Western New Mexico and won that game by a big margin as well 76-54.
