WICHITA, Kan. —The Newman women's basketball team will be looking to continue its tough and physical play this week as they have four games in five days. Newman is looking to stay hot after having a good weekend minimizing mistakes and control the tempo of play throughout the weekend.

SCOUTING NEWMAN

The Jets (2-0) participated in the Heartland-RMAC challenge Friday and Saturday. Friday the team played New Mexico Highlands and winning that game by a big margin 81-45. In the second day of the tournament the team took on Western New Mexico and won that game by a big margin as well 76-54.

The Threshers (4-2) are coming off a win Friday at home against Barclay College winning by a large margin winning 75-36 and coming off a loss Nov. 6 at home against Southwestern Christian University 55-42.

The Thunder (1-2) are coming off a tournament weekend participating in the Classic for Christ Friday and Saturday. On Friday the Thunder took on Oklahoma Wesleyan and loss that game 87-52. Saturday the team took on Grace University and loss that one by a big margin as well losing 84-65.

The Tigers (2-0) are coming off a two wins on the road in Iowa last weekend first opening up the season against Upper Iowa and winning big 66-32. On Saturday it was another big win for the Tigers as they took on Southwest Minnesota winning 84-42.
