WICHITA, Kan. — Picking up eight lopsided wins, the Newman women's tennis team eased to an 8-1 win over Tabor to stay undefeated on the season Saturday afternoon at West Genesis.

The Jets (8-0) swept through three doubles matches to start, then swept Nos. 2 through 6 singles dropping just seven total games in 10 sets.

Saturday's win came one day after Newman earned an impressive 7-2 exhibition win over Seward County CC, the No. 3-ranked junior college team in the country.

The Jets hit the road for a pair of duals next weekend, starting Friday against Drury.
