LAST TIME VS CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
The Jets scored the first points of the game off a layup from Celeste Key but Central Oklahoma's Heather Davis quickly responded by draining a three-pointer on the Bronchos' next possession. Newman used a Tasha Cannon steal and basket to take a 4-3 lead with 18:30 to play, but the Bronchos struck back and opened up a 20-12 lead halfway through the first half. Satoria Bell and Kianna Flannagan dropped in a pair of layups and a free throw with 7:05 to play to help whittle the UCO lead to 22-19, but a three ball from Savannah Hamilton pushed the Broncho lead back to 26-19. Newman's Satoria Bell netted two more layups followed by a Tasha Cannon bucket with 3:22 remaining to tie the game at 26-26 but UCO answered with a 10-2 run to close the half, and took a 36-28 lead into halftime.  Central Oklahoma opened the second half with a six-point run, and pushed its lead to 42-28. The teams traded baskets until the 17:40 mark when Newman's Satoria Bell sparked a six-point run for the Jets, narrowing the gap to 46-37. Courtney Harper responded for the Bronchos, draining a layup and setting off an eight-point run for UCO, extending the lead to 54-37 with 14:20 left to play. The Jets struck back with a nine-point run of their own using free throws from Kianna Flannagan and Satoria Bell to cut the lead to 54-46. After going back-and-forth for several minutes with the Jets slowly drawing closer, a layup from Newman's Kianna Flannagan with 5:50 remaining tied the game at 70-70.
