SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury got past the Newman women's tennis team for a 4-3 win Sunday at Cooper Tennis Complex.

The Jets dropped the doubles point falling (2-1) as No. 1 fell 6-1 and 6-3 at No. 2 before picking up the No. 3 match by forfeit.

The Jets, claimed three singles win in the loss, those coming from Emily Young 7-5, 11-5, Mirella Calvalcanti 6-2, 6-0 and Marian Gaviria 6-0, 6-0.
