WICHITA, Kan. – The Newman men's and women's tennis saw their two-game winning streaks snapped Friday afternoon (Apr. 19) as Cameron University claimed 7-0 match victories.

Women
Vlada Litvinova and Liza Gerasimova claimed the lone doubles match victory for Newman with a 6-1 win at No. 1.

No. 3 Isabela Bifano claimed the lone singles set victory for NU taking the first 7-5 before dropping the final two sets 1-6, 0-6.

On the men's side, the Jets fell behind quickly 1-0 after Cameron claimed all three double matches. In singles action the Jets struggled dropping each match in two-sets. No. 2 singles Lauri Soome forced a second set tiebreaker falling just short of a potential third set, 6-7.
