ARLINGTON, Texas – The Newman men's tennis team fell just short of their first ever conference title Saturday afternoon (Apr. 27), falling 4-0 to top-seeded St. Edward's at the Arlington Tennis Center.

The Jets fell behind early 1-0, after the Hilltoppers claimed the doubles point securing wins at No. 2 and No. 3.

The Hilltoppers would claim the match taking the first three singles points with victories at No. 5, No. 3 and No. 4.
