Arkansas City, Kan. – The Jets traveled to Arkansas City to compete against the Cowley Tigers on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, the Jets weren't able to win the match on this day despite playing some close matches.

Doubles – Newman played well in the doubles matches but weren't able to win any. Arthur Esteves Justo and Lauri Soome were defeated by Alejandro Orihuela and Carlos Castillo, 6-1. Gustavo Gil and Jarrod Nowak lost a tough one to Caden Hopfer and Javier Gonzalez, 7-6. Marcel Miasato and Teodor Antelj lost to Jan Duben and Hayden Brauer, 6-3.

Singles – Justo, playing #1 singles, would defeat Castillo, 7-6, 6-3. Marcel Miasato would get the only other win for the Jets, defeating Jan Duben, 6-3, 6-2. Soome lost his match to Orihuela 6-2, 6-2. Gil would lose the first set 6-1, win the second set 6-3 ultimately falling in the third set 10-0. Antelj lost to Javier Gonzalez 6-4, 6-2. Nowak fell to Samuel German 6-1, 7-6.

The Jets will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 28^th against Tabor in Wichita, Kan.
