WICHITA, Kan. – On Friday Afternoon, the Newman Women's Cross Country team hosted its first ever MIAA meet. Lauren Nutting led the way for the Jets finishing in 22^nd place with a time of 23:38. Delanie Dykes from Northwest Missouri State won the women's race with a time of 21:27. Newman finished in seventh place as a team, while Northwest Missouri State would win as they just edged out Central Missouri.
