Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Jets women's tennis team took on Oklahoma Baptist and Drury on back to back days in Missouri. On Saturday, Newman would fall to Oklahoma Baptist 4-3 and would fall to Drury 7-0 on Sunday.
 
Against OBU, Vlada Litvinvoa and Liza Gerasimova would win their doubles match 6-3. Emily Young and Isabela Campos Bifano would also win their match with a score of 6-1. Mariana Gaviria and Mariella D'Angelo Cavalcanti would lose their match 7-6 with a 7-5 tiebreaker.
 
In singles, Litvinova would lose to Moosbacher 6-4 and 6-1. Gerasimova would defeat Dowling 6-4 and 6-3. Maviria would fall to Walsh 6-2 and 6-1. Young would win the first set, but droop the next two to Zubkova 5-7, 6-4 and 6-2. Bifano would fall to Noel 6-3 and 7-5. Cavalcanti would defeat Holcomb in two straight sets 6-4 and 6-3.
 
On Sunday against Drury, Litvinova nad Gerasimova would fall to Abazi and Lee 6-4. Bifano and Young would fall to Eremina and Zheleva 7-6. Gaviria and Cavalcanti would fall to Kuehnble and Espejo 6-1.
 
In singles, Litvinova would lost to Lee 6-3 and 6-1. Gerasimova would fall to Zheleva 6-4 and 6-4. Gaviria would fall to Abazi 6-0 and 6-2. Young would lose to Kuehnle 6-3 and 6-4. Bifano would win the first set 6-4 and lose the second set to Eremina 6-22 before eventually falling in the third set 10-3. Cavalcanti would fall in back to back sets to Espejo 6-1 and 7-5.
 
The Jets will be back in action on Friday, February 28^th as they take on Southeastern Oklahoma State in Tulsa, Okla.
