WICHITA, Kan. – On Friday, the Newman Men's Tennis team hit the road to take on Cameron University. The Jets would fall to Cameron by a final score of 7-0.

In Doubles competition, Teodor Antelj and Arthur Esteves Justo would fall 6-4 to Dias and Daleba.  Luca Penteado and Gabriel Yaguar would fall to Del Coranado and Vidal 6-4.  In the final doubles match Jarrod Nowak and Gustavo Gil would defeat Slojewski and Volkart 6-3. 

In singles competition, Gil would drop his match to Del Coranado 6-0, 6-0.  Justo would fall to Dias 6-4, 6-1.  Antelj would lose to Daleba 6-3, 6-3.  Yaguar would drop his match to Vidal 7-6(4), 6-4.  Penteado would drop match to Slojewski in three sets 3-6, 6-2, 3-6.  In the final singles match, Nowak would fall in three sets after winning the first set, 6-3, 4-6, 4-6.

The Jets will be back in action on Wednesday, Apr. 14th as they take on Bethany College at 1:00 pm.
