TAHLEQUAH, Okla.. – Women's Tennis played a conference matchup with Northeastern State Saturday afternoon.  The Jets picked up their first MIAA win of the campaign and their first ever win over the River Hawks.

Two doubles pairings won to secure the doubles points for the Jets.   Isabela Campos Bifano and Dana Issabayeva won their doubles match 6-0 at the number two pairings.  Maries Brunet and Divya Murali won the number three's match 6-4 to clinch the point.

Newman won singles 3, 4, 5 and 6 to emerge victorious.  Ana Zeikidze, Divya Murali, Antonia Ramos and Amber Hands each handled their opponents in their matches.
