WICHITA – Both the men's and women's team clinched postseason berths with 5-2 wins over Emporia State Friday afternoon.  The seeding and matchups for the Jets in the postseason will be released later in the weekend.

The women's team clutched their win with three wins at four, five and six.  After dropping the top doubles pairing match, Dana Issabayeva & Isabela Campos Bifano as well as Divya Murali & Marie Brunet won their match ups to secure the doubles point.

In the singles, Issabayeva won her top match up.  After dropping 2 games, Divya Murali, Amber Hands and Mirella D'Angelo Cavalcanti won their matches to give the Jets a 5-1 victory.

The win came on senior day where the program honored Mirella D'Angelo Cavalcanti for her times as a Jet.

On the men's side at Riverside, Newman needed wins from their top five singles.   The Jets dropped the doubles point and needed big performances in the singles matched with the season on the line.  The team brought their best with wins from Kurt Bruckner Saurez, Ali Mounir, Pedja Kolaric, Gustavo Gil and Luca Penteado.

Both teams will find out their postseason matchups this weekend.
