WICHITA - The Jets hosted Pratt in their home opener of the 2023 season. 

Women's doubles started off the day for the Jets. Dana Issabayeva and Isabela Campos Bifano dominated in their game wining it 6-0. Pratt only had two doubles teams, resulting in a 2-1 win for Newman.

The Jets singles kept up the dominance with Issabayeva, Campos Bifano, Nicole Bono, and Lauren Esfeld winning their matches in just 2 sets. Amber Hands had a great performance, not dropping a set winning 6-0 in both. 

Pratt did not have enough singles competitors, therefore Divya Murali took a win by default.

Newman ended the day with a dominate 7-0 sweep.
