WICHITA- The Women's team hosted No.49 Northeastern State. 

The Jets dropped the doubles point to start the day. There were close battles in the #3 and #1 spot, but were unable to take the win. In the #2 doubles spot, Isabela Campos Bifano and Dana Issabeyeva were able to steal a win 7-6 winning the tiebreak 7-3. 

The Jets started off the singles on a strong note. In the #1 spot, Issabeyeva battled in her first set coming out on top, 7-5. In the second set she absolutely dominated with a 6-1 win. 

Ani Zeikidze was the second Jet of the day to come out on top. Zeikidze won 6-1 with a dominant performance in the first set. She was unable to take the second set, but came back in the third set to win 6-0. 

Divya Murali was the third Jet to record a win. Murali took both sets in dominant fashion, 6-3. 


The Jets were points away from taking another match, but fell just short. The Jets lost 4-3. 


Up Next: The Jets play Sunday April 16th where they will host UCO for senior day. The Men will also play an alumni match for senior day.
