HUTCHINSON, Kans. - Newman Men's Golf competed in their final tournament before the MIAA Conference Championship in two weeks, the Prairie Dunes Invitational, hosted by Sterling College. 17 teams competed in the two day tournament.
 
Newman finished in 16th place and shot +88 on the tournament. The Jets finished ahead of Tabor College.
 
Noah Ahrens had the best result for Newman, finishing tied for 38th after shooting +13 over two rounds. He shot one stroke lower in his second round.
 
As a team the Jets lowered their strokes by two in the second round and finished the tournament with a 648 score.
 
The Jets will take part in the MIAA Conference Championship at Silo Ridge Golf Course on April 17th-19th
