WICHITA - Women's Tennis continued their fall season taking on local rivals Friends University on Wednesday. The Women had swept Sterling College the week before, and would make it two straight sweeps to take the Ladies to 2-0. 

Going a combined 6-0 in singles competition, the Jets took care of business in two sets for every match. Martina Lolli had the most impressive performance in singles, not allowing a single point on her end. Sofiko Zeikidze would have a similar outcome as well, allowing only one point through two sets. 

At the top of the order, Ani Zeikidze and Dana Issabayeva won their matchups following their perfromances at the ITA Central Regional last weekend. 

The Jets would also go 3-0 in doubles competition, winning 6-0 in all three matches. It gave the Jets a clean sweep over Friends, with a 7-0 victory. 

Newman will be in action for the final time this fall, taking on Quincy University next Friday, and will then end the Fall season facing Missouri Valley College on Saturday.
