ST. JOSEPH, Mo.- Men's and Women's Cross Country competed in the MIAA Championships this morning hosted by Missouri Western. The Men placed 11th and the Women placed 12th.

Men's Cross Country:
The men placed 11th overall with 313 total points. Asher Brown was the first Jet across the finish line in 36th place with a time of 25.02.73. Jake Beauchamp crossed the finish line in 55th place with a time of 25.28.81. Logan Libel was the third Jet across the line with a time of 27.05.53. Paul Sevart finished in 96th place with a time of 28.20.04. Josias Chavez Ramirez finished with a time of 28.44.02 which secured him 100th place. Jair Martinez-Delgado finished 106th with a time of 29.43.56. The Jets snagged 11th place overall.

Women's Cross Country:
The Women placed 12th with 310 points. Alexa Ornelas was the first Jet across the line coming in 39th place with a time of 23.09.68. Nayelly Rosales was the second Jet across the line with a time of 23.29.28 to secure 50th place. Isabella Torres finished in 89th place with a time of 26.05.31. Britton Kelly was the next Jet with a time of 26.31.01. Laura Davis finished in 94th recording a time of 26.39.74. Lexi Wimberly finished in 98th at 27.39.50. 103rd place went to Anna Lobmeyer with a time of 29.22.44. Anna Corbett finished 106th with a time of 30.50.84.
