Scouting the Jets 
The Jets are coming off a 2-0 week against the Tigers and William Jewell. Through the Jes first four games, Jaeden McMillin is leading the team with 15 points a game and 6.5 rebounds per game. Saige Grampsas has added 9.5 points per game with shooting just under 40% from the three point line. Valeriya Lioukina leads the Jets in rebounds with 8.3 per game while averaging six points per game. In the win against William Jewell, Lioukina broke the Jets record for rebounds in a single game with 18. 
 
Behind Enemy Lines
Emporia State has only played three games so far this season. They first faced off against Minnesota State-Mankato where they lost 99-74. Minnesota State was last season's NCAA DII Champions. The Hornets then faced Sioux Falls and won the game by just two points. They then hosted Wayne State and took the game by five points. Gracie Gilpin, Katie Horyna, and Faith Paramore are all leading the Hornets with 10.7 points per game. Paramore is also leading the Hornets in rebound with 7.3 per game. 
 
Oklahoma Christian has a record of 1-1 so far. The Eagles have played a few exhibition games against the University of Oklahoma, Wichita State, and York University. The Eagles lost by three to East Central on November 13th, then beat Randall 104-39. Against East Central, Claira Dannefer and Katie Edelen led the Eagles in scoring with 17 points a piece. Dannefer also led in rebounds with eight. Eva Fernandez added 14 points with four assists. Against Randall, Nakia Cullom led the way with 20 points. Caitlynn Jordan brought in 15 points and six rebounds. 
 
Truman State is off to a 2-2 start. The Bulldogs faced William Woods and the University of Missouri for exhibition games. Then they faced Cedarville, Ursuline, Concordia-St. Paul and Winona State. Molly Joyce leads the Bulldogs with 21.3 points per game while bringing in 4.3 rebounds per game. Three other Bulldogs are averaging double-digit points. The Bulldogs team is currently averaging 69 points per game while shooting just 33% from the three and 42.5% from the field. The Bulldogs will face Washburn and Quincy before facing the Jets in Springfield. 
 
Drury is off to a 1-1 start to the season. The Panthers lost their first game to Ferris State at 81-77. They then beat Central Oklahoma 82-71. Through their first few games, Rhi Gibbons is leading the way with 16.5 points per game and shooting 57.9% from the field. Caitlynn Daniels is averaging 13 points per game with 3.5 rebounds per game and shooting over 50% from the field. The Panthers are averaging 79.5 points per game by shooting 48% from the field as a team and 37.5% from the three. The Panthers will match up against Missouri Southern and Arkansas- Fort Smith before matching up against the Jets in the Drury Thanksgiving Classic. 
 
The Series
The Jets and Hornets have met up 16 times, with the Jets record being 5-11. 
 
Newman has met up with the Eagles 18 times. The Jets have won eight. The last match up in 2022, the Jets won 71-62.
 
The Jets and Bulldogs have only met up one time before, in 2017 where the Bulldogs won 75-69.
 
Newman has met up with Drury once in 2010 with the Panthers winning 79-56. 
 
Next Up
The Jets will kick off conference games on December 5th and 7th against Northeastern State and Arkansas-Fort Smith.
