LAWRENCE, Kan. - Women's Tennis traveled to Lawrence looking to come back to winning ways. The Jets came back to action after facing No. 22 Augustana.

 

Newman started the match winning the doubles point after a fantastic performance from Ani Zeikidze and Nicole Bono, and Antonia Ramos and Dana Issabayeva, winning their respective matches 6-2. 

 

The Jets brought their A game to the singles matches too, winning every match and not conceding a single set in any of the matches. 

 

Issabayeva continued her good form and won her game with a comfortable 6-2, 6-1 final score.

 

Zeikidze won her match 6-3, 6-1 for her second win of the day.

 

Marie Brunet clinched the win with a fourth point for the Jets winning an unchallenging 6-1, 6-1 match.  

 

Bono also won her second match of the day after beating her opponent 6-3, 6-4. 

 

Luna Feillon triumphed after a battling 7-5, 6-4 match. 

 

Ramos wrapped up the matches with an incredible 6-1, 6-0 win. 

 

The Jets will host their first match of the season this Wednesday where they will face Pratt Community College.
