MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. - Men's Golf competed at the Showdown at Shangri-La on Monday and Tuesday, finishing in seventeenth place. 

Braxton Muldoon had the best overall performance at the tournament, scoring a 74 in both the first and second rounds. He would finish in a tie for fifty-third place. 

Chase Martel had the best overall round for Newman in the tournament, scoring a 73 in the first round. 

Grant Delsart and Noah Ahrens both improved on their first round scores in the second round, while Quinn Toomey shot well throughout the entire tournament.

The Jets will have one more regular season tournament at the Firekeeper Open next week. After that, the spring season will conclude at the MIAA Championships in Kansas City, Missouri.
