Last Time Out
The Jets dropped two match-ups on the road last weekend to the Jennies and the Ichabods. Newman first traveled to Warrensburg to face the Jennies. Against the Jennies, the Jets fell 83-41. Paige Craft led the Jets against the Jennies with 11 points. Then, against the Ichabods the Jets fell just short 77-66. The Jets had the lead at the halftime break, but a big third quarter by the Ichabods allowed Washburn the edge and took the 11 point win. Against Washburn, four Jets scored in double-digits. Jaeden McMillin led with 15 points, Valeriya Lioukind scored 14 points, Monica Redondo added 11 points, and Paige Craft scored 10 points. 

Scouting the Jets 
Through 17 games, the Jets average 59.4 points per game, shooting 35.6% from the field, and 29% from behind the arc. The Jets are currently averaging 11.5 assists per game, more than what they allow their opponents. McMillin leads all Jet scorers with averaging 12.1 points per game. Craft and Lioukina are both averaging just over eight points per game. McMillin also leads the Jets in rebounds and steals. Saige Grampsas leads the Jets in assists with 42 on the year.  

Behind Enemy Lines
The Lions are out to an 11-5 record with a 5-2 mark in conference. Anna Trusty and Morgan Browning lead the Lions scoring attack, averaging 14 and 13 points respectively. Trusty is shooting 41% from three this season. Sinetra Jones leads the team in field goal percentage, shooting just under 57% while also leading the team in rebounds, averaging six a game. Zyniah Thomas is another player of note for the Lions, with 53 assists on the year. Following Thursday night's match-up, the Lions will travel to Emporia for a match-up with the Hornets on Saturday.

The Riverhawks are 7-9 overall and 3-4 in conference.  Northeastern State will play Emporia State on Thursday before traveling to Wichita for Saturday's tilt with the Jets.  The Riverhawks are averaging 68 points per game while shooting 39% from the field. Alex Hill is leading the team offensively, averaging 14 points per game and shooting 40%. Courtney Lee is their leading rebounder, pulling in just under six rebounds a game.  Lee (12.1) and Deyanna Douglas (10.8) are both averaging double digits in the scoring department this season. 

The Series
- The Jets are 2-5 against the Lions. The last contest earlier this season went to the Lions, 61-54.
- The Riverhawks lead the series being 9-3 against the Jets. The last contest earlier this season went to the Riverhawks 78-50. 

Next Up
The Jets are back in Fugate Gymnasium next week to host Central Oklahoma and Rogers State. The contest between the Hillcats will be the Hall of Fame game.
