BROKEN ARROW, Okla.- Men's Golf competed at the Tulsa Cup at The Club at Indian Springs in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After three rounds of play, the Jets placed T16th, shooting a team score of 897.
Grant Delsart and Alphonse Hermansson led the Jets through the opening round, both with 76, highlighted by Delsart's 14 birdies and Hermansson's two birdies and eight pars to finish four over par. Braxton Muldoon and Charlie Townsend each carded rounds of 78, with Muldoon recording two birdies and Townsend adding one. Tomas Asgeirsson rounded out the team scoring, shooting 79. After round one, the Jets totaled 306 as a team.
Delsart and Hermansson continued to lead the Jets in round two, both with a stellar 71, one under par, to pace the team. Delsart's round featured five birdies, including a strong back nine with an eagle. Hermansson had three birdies, with a front nine eagle. Townsend followed with 75, Asgeirsson with 78, and Muldoon with 79 to close out the second round of play.
To wrap up the third round of play, Asgerisson led the Jets with a strong 71, with three birdies. Alphonse was just two strokes behind with a 73, also with three birdies. Delsart and Muldoon both brought in a 75, and Townsend shot 78. The Jets had a combined 13 birdies and shot a 294 as a team to bring in a final score of 897 for T16th place.
