- To start the third quarter , the Jets went on a 5-0 run to cut the deficit to 36-24. The Jets continued to chip away at the Hornets lead throughout the third quarter. A basket by Valeriya Lioukina at the six minute mark put the Jets within 11 points. Later, free throws by McMillin cut the deficit to just nine points. The Hornets were able to keep the Jets at a double-digit distance to end the quarter, with the score being 54-41.
