OWASSO, Okla. -  Men's and Women's golf competed in the Hillcat classic the past two days. This was the first tournament of the spring season for both teams.  The Hillcat classic saw the Men place fourth and the Women place sixth. 

Through the first day of play,  the Men shot 562 which was good for the lead. Playing 36 holes, Charlie Townsend led the way shooting a total score of 139. Chase Martel shot 141.  The Women played 18 holes, shooting a 329 with Aiden Coffelt leading the way with a 79.

Day two saw the Men's play 18, where they finished the tournament shooting a 856 overall and finishing fourth. Martel finished tied for 3rd, shooting 211 for the tournament. Braxton Muldoon, Townsend, and Grant Delsart all finished in the top 20. The Women finished the tournament shooting a 648, which was good enough for sixth place. Coffelt finished shooting 158 for the tournament.

The Men's next tournament is March 24th-25th where they will play in the Arkansas Collegiate. The Women play March 17th-18th in the Midwest Intercollegiate in Warrensburg, Missouri.
