Jets finish in second; Townsend finishes third at Tiger Classic

Men's golf traveled to Hays Kansas  to participate in the Tiger classic.  The team shot a 866, which secured them second place in the Tournament. Three Jets golfers finished in the top 15, with Charlie Townsend tying for third.

Day one saw the Jets finish in 7th place, shooting a 403. Charlie Townsend and Braxton Muldoon both ended the day within striking distance on the leaderboard, with Townsend shooting a 71 in his first round, and Muldoon turning in a 72. Townsend ended the day in 12th place and Muldoon in 14th. Play was suspended midway through the teams second round due to darkness, and picked back up Tuesday morning. 

When play resumed on day two, Townsend finished his second round sitting in 7th place. Muldoon sat in 11th place, with Chase Martel in 18th place before the last round of the tournament. The Jets moved into 4th place as a team, shooting a 581.  Round 3 saw the Jets move up two more spots, securing a second place in the tournament. Charlie Townsend finished in third place, with the highlight of his last round being an eagle on the sixth hole. Braxton Muldoon finished in eighth place turning in a 215 and Chase Martel finished  12th with a 216.

Quinn Toomey golfed individually during the tournament, shooting a 244 over 54 holes.
