TAHLEQUAH, Okla.- The Jets faced Northeastern State in a Friday morning match.
The Riverhawks took the doubles match point, taking all three matches. The Riverhawks took the early 1-0 lead heading into singles play. The Riverhawks took the 3-0 lead with wins at No. 1 singles and No. 3 singles.
Luna Feillon grabbed the Jets first win at the five spot with a 6-4 set one win and a 7(7)-6(2) set two win. This made the score 3-1. The Riverhawks were able to clinch the match with a win at the No. 4 spot to make it 4-1 in favor of the Riverhawks.
Ani Zeikidze, at the No. 2 spot, gave the Jets their second point of the match with a win.
Anastassiya Kim took her match at the No.6 spot to claim the Jets third point with a 6-3 second set win and a 7-5 third set win. The Riverhawks would claim the win, 4-3.
