TULSA, Okla. – The Jets opened play at the NSU Classic on Monday at Page Belcher Golf Course – Stone Creek. After 36 holes on day one, Newman sat in 11th place with a team score of 566. The Jets wrapped up play at the NSU Classic on Tuesday, finishing in 14th place with a three-round team score of 862.
Tomas Asgeirsson and
Braxton Muldoon led the way in round one, each firing a 68 to open the tournament at three-under par. Both followed with second-round 73s, finishing the day at 141 and tied for 31st individually.
Alphonse Hermansson bounced back after a 73 in the morning with a team-low 70 in the afternoon, closing the day at 143.
Grant Delsart posted rounds of 72 and 71 for a 143 total as well.
Noah Ahrens carded a 73 and a 71 to sit at 144 through two rounds.
After day one, Asgeirsson and Muldoon tied for 31st, Hermansson and Delsart tied for 42nd, and Ahrens sat tied for 53rd heading into Tuesday.
Grant Delsart paced Newman in the final round, carding an even-par 71 to finish at 214 for the tournament. His steady play moved him up the leaderboard into a tie for 31st overall.
Alphonse Hermansson followed with a 74 on Tuesday to close at 217, tying for 49th individually.
Noah Ahrens matched that 74 in the final round, posting 218 across 54 holes to tie for 55th.
Tomas Asgeirsson closed with a 77 in the final round for a total of 218, also tying for 55th.
Braxton Muldoon rounded out the Jets' lineup with an 80 in the final round, finishing at 221.
