CLAREMORE, Okla. - The Jets faced Rogers State in an away conference match-up. In the Saturday doubleheader, the Jets fall to RSU, 0-7, in game one and 0-8 in game two.
Game one vs Rogers State: NU 0, RSU 7
- In the top of the first, Lani Dryden would single and advance on an AJ Borja walk, but would be left on base. In the bottom half of the inning, Rogers State scored the first run of the day off an RBI single. Audry Rumsey would be left base after doubling in the top of the second. RSU brought in their second run via a single and a triple. In the bottom of the third, Lan. Dryden would turn an inning-ending double play. Hannah Nordby would lead off the fourth with a single and advance on a sacrifice bunt by Lauren McNaught, but was unable to score. In the bottom of the sixth, the Hillcats would score four runs to take the score to 0-7.
Game two vs Rogers State: NU 0, RSU 8
- To lead off the top of the first, Malie Noda hit a double and was advanced to third on a Lan. Dryden sacrifice bunt. RSU homered twice in the bottom half of the inning to score the first two runs of the game, and would add an unearned run in the second. Laci Dryden added a hit on the day in the top of the third. In the bottom half of the inning, Katelyn Westover retired the Hillcats three up, three down. Kaila Kaahu singled to start the fifth and was advanced by a Rumsey walk. In the bottom half of the inning, RSU would score five runs to end the game.
