GREENWOOD, Ind.- The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Eight members of the Newman Tennis teams were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's and women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Men's Tennis All-District
Enrico Belardo competed in nine singles matches and 11 doubles matches for the Jets this season.
David Javadov picked up two singles wins in 13 appearances for the Jets this season. His wins came against Southwest Baptist and Washburn. In doubles play, Javadov earned two wins in 14 appearances. His doubles victories came with partner
Tikhon Sorokin against Southwest Baptist and Northwest Missouri.
Noah Smith competed in 12 singles matches and 11 doubles matches for the Jets this season.
Tikhon Sorokin appeared in 17 matches this year for Newman, including 13 singles matches and 14 doubles matches. Sorokin earned two doubles wins alongside partner

Women's Tennis All-District
Nicole Bono posted a 4-7 singles record and a 4-6 doubles record this season. Bono earned singles victories over FHSU twice, along with wins against UAFS and NSU. Her doubles wins, alongside partner
Mariana Jimenez, came against Northwest Missouri, UAFS, NSU, and FHSU.
Luciana Flores Urey posted a 3-11 singles record and a 3-9 doubles record. Flores Urey earned doubles victories with partner
Anastassiya Kim against Pratt CC, UAFS, and FHSU. Her singles wins came against NSU, USF, and FHSU.
Mariana Jimenez posted a 4-6 singles record and a 5-5 doubles record this season. Her singles wins came against Pratt CC, UAFS, UNK, and FHSU. She also earned doubles victories with partners
Linda Nocito and
Nicole Bono against Pratt CC, UAFS, NSU, and FHSU.
Linda Nocito picked up two singles wins and one doubles win this season. Nocito's singles victories came against UAFS and FHSU, while her doubles win came against Pratt CC.
