Sophomore 2019-20: In his Sophomore season, Smith posted a 23-18 record including 1 fall, 2 tech falls, and 2 major decisions for the Jets.  He finished his season with a 6th place finish at the NCAA DII Regional IV.
2018-19: Smith comes to Newman from Owasso high school in Owasso, OK…The freshman sonography major earned four varsity letters and two years as team captain…He was a three time state qualifier…He placed at state twice and was an all-state selection once.
