After having a stellar playing career, dos Santos moved over to the coaching side for the Jets becoming Coach Augspurger's Graduate Assistant. In 2018-19, his second year on the coaching staff, dos Santos helped lead the men's team to a Heartland Conference Championship Final.Â
Senior Year Highlights
Eduardo dos Santos, who was ranked as high as No. 25 in the country and No. 1 in the region. In his final season for the Jets, dos Santos went 22-6 in singles play, becoming the first Newman men's tennis player to earn the Heartland Conference's top postseason honor in program history, Player of the Year. As a senior, dos Santos also grabbed one of six spots on the first team to finish his career as a four-time all-conference honoree, and was awarded the Heartland Conference Outstanding Senior nod as well.
