Sierra Maykus, a 5-8 guard, comes to NU from McMurry University where she played her first two seasons. In her sophomore season, Maykus was second on the team in scoring, averaging 8.3 points per game. She started 16 games and appeared in all 26 games. The Southlake, Texas native led the War Hawks at the free throw line, shooting 85 percent. She added 1.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. As a freshman, she appeared in all 27 games, averaging 2.9 points and 0.7 rebounds per game. In her prep career at Southlake Carroll HS, Maykus was First Team All-District for three seasons.
