Ran high school cross country for coach Todd Kaiser at Great Bend High School in Great Bend, Kan. ...Three-time All-State honoree, including a third place finish at the Kansas 5A State Championship race in 2008 and 2010...Helped lead the GBHS Panthers to three Western Athletic Conference Championships and two Kansas 5A Regional Championships...Ran her personal-best 4K race in 15:16...Member of the GBHS Honor Roll and the District Orchestra.

Born Sept. 29, 1992 in Great Bend, Kan…Daughter of Zila Torres and Eduardo Torres…Majoring in Nursing.
