Before Newman:
Wrestled in high school at Taylor High School in Kokomo, Ind. for coach Gary Klienight...Was a two-time Mid-Indiana Conference Champion, two-time Sectional Champion, two-time Regional Champion, and a three-time Semi-State Qualifier during his high school career...Set the 125 pound school record compiling a 42-1 record.

Born August 22, 1992 in Kokomo, Ind...Full name is Kristopher Lynn Workman...Son of Randy and Jenifer Workman...Majoring in Business Administration.
