Biography

Senior (2017-18): Bought Newman their first National Championship in wrestling and any sport in 2018…Named an NCAA All-American the second Jet to win the honor in 2018…Had a record of 39-4 on the season at 184…Dual Record of 7-1, MIAA record of 3-1, 6-0 in major decisions, and had eight pins on the season…Placed first in the Swede Open, first in the Bob Smith Open, first in the Reece-Wright-Conklin Jet Invitational, fourth in the Midwest Classic, first in the Kansas Cup, first in the MIAA championships, and third in the NCAA Super Regionals

Senior (2016-17): Redshirted, winning the 184-pound title at the Missouri Valley Open while competing unattached

Junior (2015-16): Went 11-14 overall at 165 pounds, going 2-5 in duals and 1-3 in MIAA duals ... Picked up two falls and one major decision ... Finished in third place at the Kansas Cup, going 4-1 on the day, and picked up a fourth-place finish at the 6th Annual Reece Wright-Conklin Jet Invitational
