Kelly Machacek is entering into her sixth year as an assistant coach for the Newman Women’s Bowling program in the 2025-26 season.
Machacek served as the graduate assistant for the program during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
Machacek was a four-year member of the Newman bowling team from 2014-2018. During these years she helped the team to a sectionals tournament victory 2016 and the highest power points finish on the Women’s side in the 2017-2018 season. She currently holds the top women’s average for the program’s history.
She has bowled 2 300 games in her career and 1 800 series, being 821.
A Lincoln, Nebraska native, Machacek received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership from Newman.
