Tori Provencio

Tori Provencio enters into her first season leading the Jets in 2026-2027. 

Provencio joins the Jets after spending the 2025 volleyball season as an assistant coach at Butler County Community College. In the 2025 season, Provencio helped lead the Grizzlies to a 20-12 overall record (10-6 in conference play). The Grizzlies would end their 2025 campaign in the Region 6 Quarterfinals. Provencio helped lead five Grizzlies to earn All-KJCCC honors, including one First Team All-KJCCC and four Second Team All-KJCCC honorees. 

Before Butler CC, Provencio spent nine seasons at Hutchinson Community College as an assistant coach from 2015-2024. While at Hutch CC, Provencio helped lead the Blue Dragons to two Jayhawk West Championships and two Region 6 titles. In 2015, the Blue Dragons won their fourth-straight Jayhawk West and Region 6 Championship. They would also place ninth in the NJCAA National Tournament with an overall record of 34-9. The next season, the Blue Dragons claimed a share of the Jayhawk West title and advanced to the Jayhawk West championship game. In 2017, the Dragons took another Region 6 championship leading them to a berth to the NJCAA National tournament. While at Hutch CC, Provencio coached three NJCAA All-Americans and 39 All-KJCCC Honorees. Provencio and the Dragons claimed five 20+ win seasons. 

In her collegiate career, Provencio was a libero at Pratt Community College in 2010 and 2011 where she helped lead the Beavers to a 2010 Jayhawk West Championship. In 2010, Provencio marked 384 total digs, with 3.28 digs per set. In 2011 she posted 448 total digs with 4.15 digs per set, earning her a spot on the Honorable Mention All-Jayhawk West team. Provencio earned her Associate of Science Degree at Pratt CC, before transferring to join the Jets for two seasons. Provencio would later graduate from Newman University in 2015 with a psychology degree. In 2023, Provencio earned her Master’s Degree in education, clinical mental health, at Wichita State University. 

Provencio is a Derby, Kansas native. At Derby High School, Provencio was a four-year letter winner and earned first-team All-AVCTL Division I honors in 2009, her senior season. 

Provencio has one daughter, Summer.
