-Newman continues a four-game home stand Wednesday when they host the Bethel Threshers in a 7 p.m. contest inside Fugate Gymnasium.

-The Jets won their season-opener in a 73-60 win over Tabor Monday night inside Fugate Gymnasium. Keaton Schultz drained four three-pointers on his way to a career-high 16 points, and finished second on the team with five rebounds. Justin Berry and Jaray Mathews each added 12 points in the Newman win.

-Newman eclipsed the century mark in last year's only meeting between the two teams, picking up a 106-75 win exactly one year ago on Nov. 18. 

-The Threshers are 1-2 on the season after picking up a 58-57 win over Dallas Christian College Saturday in the SNU Classic in Bethany, Okla.
