Scouting the Hilltoppers...
The Hilltoppers enter tonight's match with a 9-5 record, and are 2-0 in Heartland Conference play after downing defending conference champion Texas-Permian Basin (3-2), and sweeping Dallas Baptist last weekend. SEU's opponents have had to deal with a dual threat offensively. Ashley Vander Hey has racked up 174 kills this season, while Courtney Trevino is right behind her with 173 kills through 14 games. Ashley Ralston and Chelsea Barsamian have emerged as St. Edward's primary setters. Ralston has been credited with 296 assists, while Barsamian's 289 assists is second on the team. Michelle Hundt does the dirty work for the Hilltoppers, digging 331 balls so far this season.
