After starting the season 3-0 the Jets have dropped their past two games and will look to turn things around against Lincoln.  Newman is out-scoring it's opposition by three points a game. The Jets are holding opponents to a 41.4 percent field goal percentage, and are locking down the perimeter as well. Opponents are shooting just 26 percent from behind the arc against the Jets.

Two Jets are averaging double figures in points, highlighted by Eric Saunders' 13.2 point-per-game average. Last Time Out...
Washburn spoiled the Jets' hopes for a quick turnaround, handing them their second consecutive loss with an, 88-63 decision Friday afternoon in Topeka. After trailing by as many as 30 points in the second half, Newman used a 10-2 run sparked by a Ryan Mesh free throw to cut the lead to 22 with 12:57 left in regulation. Unfortunately that was as close as the Newman offense could get, as the Ichabods ran away with a 25-point win. Eric Saunders led all Newman scorers with 13 points, while Chuck Coley added 11 points on the night.
